Classes
Highland Print Studio offers a range of classes for anyone interested in learning a new technique. Most classes are suitable for complete beginners and no previous artistic experience is necessary. So come along and explore your creative side. There will be one in there!
Previous printmaking experience will only be required if indicated.
Highland Print Studio will also schedule additional classes for groups. If you have a minimum of 6 participants, the Studio can arrange a class in a technique of your choice at a time to suit.
If a class is fully-booked, please feel free to contact the Studio and we will be happy to add you to the waiting list or advise you on when another class is likely to be scheduled.

Beginner/Refresher - Evening Classes
Etching. 21 Feb - 27 March, Tuesday 6.30 – 8.30pm.
A comprehensive introduction to the techniques of creating an image consisting of line and tone by etching into a metal plate and hand printing using traditional methods.

Relief Printing. 22 Feb - 28 March, Wednesday 6.30 – 8.30 pm.
Create a two-colour reduction print from a side-grain wood block. Learn a range of cutting and texture-making techniques. Option to work with either lino or wood.

Explore working with texture by building your own printing blocks from a variety of materials such as fabric, card, natural objects etc.

Intermediate - Weekend Classes
